The Art of Living Monastery
The Art of Living Monastery was founded in 2012 and is part of a larger group of monasteries worldwide.

Our Knights of Prayer monastic order of Christian monks includes thousands of monks worldwide. We are born-again believers who trust our eternal salvation through the love, death, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ -- the same as most conservative, born-again Christians.
​
We live in the world but are not of the world. At our Monastery, we put these beliefs into practice through our daily lifestyle. We minimize our interactions and use of politics, government, public education, and Western medicine and rarely leave our monastery grounds. In this way, we share a few lifestyle attributes with the Beachy Amish, Modern Mennonites, and solitary Monks across the world. This lifestyle allows us to remain focused on God, be surrounded by His creation, and dedicate our daily lives to studying His word.
